Let’s go for a “drive” at Wintergreen Resort!

It’s time to hit the links at Wintergreen Resort!

Wintergreen offers numerous options for both the beginner and the serious player within a short drive from Charlottesville, Lynchburg, Waynesboro, and Staunton. Stoney Creek is open to the public and gives you the chance to play 27 holes in the valley designed by well-renowned course architect Rees Jones. Each 9 hole links course was thoughtfully incorporated into the existing terrain at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and provides mountain views, rolling hills, and balance with the streams babbling down from the top of Crawford’s Knob. The trio of links are individually named Shamokin, Monocan, and Tuckahoe. The Stoney Creek Golf Course was ranked #24 for courses in Virginia during 2018 by Virginia Golf Ratings.

Members also have access to the Devils Knob Golf Course located at the top of Wintergreen Resort. This is the highest elevation course in Virginia at 3,850 feet! The higher elevation gives your drive a little more distance, trust me! The temperatures are typically 10 degrees cooler than in the Rockfish Valley, so summer play is much more bearable. The views of the Rockfish Valley and the Blue Ridge Mountains cannot be offered by another course in the entire state.

Wintergreen Resort wants to see you on the links!
